Instead, I'll tell you who is doing just that. Google Maps Mania is a blog that aggregates information about every single home-brew Google Maps application out there. And believe me there's a lot. A lot more than you'll ever need. Some of the best/most useless ones include the JackTracker (as in Jack Bauer) and The Geography of Seinfeld. Some of the more useful sites offer information on housing, employment, gas prices and transit.
